Beaver, PA – Dr. Michael M. Pennock, M.D., serves as a dedicated physician and Assistant Clinical Professor at both UPMC Hillman Cancer Center and Heritage Valley Beaver. Dr. Pennock earned his Doctor of Medicine from Penn State University in 2018, followed by his internship and residency at Montefiore Medical Center and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Michael M. Pennock, M.D., MBiot, DABR serves as a dedicated board-certified attending physician and assistant clinical professor at both UPMC Hillman Cancer Center and Heritage Valley Beaver. Specializing in radiation oncology, Dr. Pennock plays a critical role in cancer treatment, combining clinical practice, precision, compassion, cost-effective and advanced care, cutting-edge research, and medical education to improve patient outcomes and advance the field. Dr. Pennock received a Bachelor of Science in psychology, with a concentration in neuroscience, from Davidson College in North Carolina. He earned his Master of Biotechnology from Penn State University, earned his medical degree (MD) from Penn State College of Medicine, and completed residency in radiation oncology at Montefiore Medical Center – Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where he served as chief resident, earning the Leo M. Davidoff Society of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine: Outstanding Teaching Award. He volunteers with Connecting Champions and was granted the Inspiration Award for his mentorship of children recovering from cancer. He obtained board certification in radiation oncology from the American Board of Radiology (ABR). Dr. Pennock is a member of the American Society for Therapeutic Radiation Oncology (ASTRO), American College of Radiation Oncology (ACRO), American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), American College of Radiology (ACR), American Medical Association (AMA), American Board of Radiology (ABR), Beaver County Medical Society (BCMS), European Society for Therapeutic Radiation Oncology (ESTRO), Pennsylvania Society of Oncology and Hematology (PSOH), Radiosurgery Society (RSS), Sigma Xi Research Society, and NCI-RCR.
